I found a new spot today and I´ll visit it again for sure. Lots of birds and really nice surroundings. First out is a Wooden Sandpiper shot wit my new 100-400. Love it!

I´ve bought myself a new tele zoom. Canons new EF 100-400/4,5-4.6 II USM. So far I´m very happy with it and this butterfly shot tonight is an example of what it can do.

This morning I sat in a hide we built yesterday with som camo net and branches we found lying on the ground. I arrived 7.00 and it didn´t take long until I started to hear the Buzzards in the air. But they never came down. A couple of times they sat in the trees just next to me but I could´t point the camera towards them, and after a while they disappeared again. I slowly started to freeze and gave myself until 10 o´clock. A couple of minutes before 10 this one landed in a tree where I could reech him. And after a while he even came down.

The House sparrow isn´t that common here in the south of Sweden any more. This one was shot yesterday.

Taking pictures isn´t just about the object. The background matters almost as much. Here´s a an autumn colored oak behind he Eurasian tree sparrow.

Sometimes it´s just the pose, the face and the expression that matters.
