Eurasian Oystercatcher on the beach.

The weather all of a sudden turned great so I actually skipped the World Cup in Brazil and took my gear to Stavsten outside Trelleborg. It didm´t take long until the first Oystercatcher landed in front of me.

I really wanted to try my Gimbal and there where some sun tonight, so I managed to sneak away on a walk along the ocean after dinner. There´s some shore meadows five minutes walk from where I live and there´s a lot of Common redshanks there, so that´s where I went.

Floating blind on open sea.

21 juni, 2014 at 01:46

It´s not easy to control a floating blind on open sea. I learned that the other day. Even on the calmest day there´s still waves making it virtually impossible to fokus since the lens is moving up and down. But I got myself into real shallow water with no waves where I found this Black-headed Gull.
